How To Mass Invite On Facebook

I’m not sure if I’m unleashing the wolves on some innocent little lambs by revealing this to Network Marketers or not…

But I just want to remind you that “With great power comes great responsibility.”

(Spider-Man’s Uncle Ben told him this.)

Why am I making such a big deal?

Because I am going to tell you how to mass invite people on Facebook.

This may not seem like quite a big deal if you only have 30 friends, but once you get into the thousands like Monique and I have, it becomes quite a pain to select all your friends to invite them to (fill in the blank)…

  • Become a fan of your page
  • Listen to a phone call
  • Watch a webinar
  • Go to a Meetup
  • Whatever!

Monique has gotten hundreds more listeners to her training calls since we started doing this.

We’ve also made thousands more people aware of our fan page and went from 419 fans to 620 fans in the span of 1 week.

Ready to see how to do this yet?

Well, I’ll show you. Just promise me not to abuse it ;) Continue reading How To Mass Invite On Facebook

Attraction Marketing makes more sense after a case of Amnesia

I’m sorry, do I know you…

Monique told me about a story someone told her the other day that had me laughing so hard that I would have spit milk out of my nose (that is, if I had been drinking milk).

The person who told her the story is Byron Smith, someone we’ve come to know through Facebook.

But the best part is that Byron had an epiphany because of what happened and it has set him on a course of action that will only lead to success.

Byron is going to start his own blog because he likes writing so much (can you blame him ;), so I asked him to relay what he learned for all our loyal DriveTheLine followers.

Without further ado, I give you Mr. Byron Smith — take it away, Byron: Continue reading Attraction Marketing makes more sense after a case of Amnesia

Analyzing Your Facebook Fan Page

Warning: Don’t Study the Facebook Fan Page Graphs and Analytics Too Hard or You’ll End Up Like the Guy to the Left

Now that we have that out of the way, I would like to show you some more reasons why I prefer Fan Pages over Groups on Facebook — all the Graphs and Analytics!

Why does this matter, you may ask?

It matters because it will give you a great idea of who you are attracting to you, so you can have laser focus when you are trying to meet their needs.

Plus, if you get some interaction going with your fans, you will not only have a good idea of who they are and what they are like, you will also know what problems they need solved.

But, like I said, this post is about looking at the graphs and analytics.

I wrote another post on some ways to interact with your fans and you can find that here: http://drivetheline.com/promoting-your-facebook-fan-page-through-apps-and-widgets/ Continue reading Analyzing Your Facebook Fan Page

Promoting Your Facebook Fan Page Through Apps and Widgets

In order to make it in this business, you need to be a “shameless” self-promoter. You need to create a brand — that’s what Don King did — “Only in America,” right?

And, as promised, that’s what we’ll be talking about today — promoting your Facebook Fan Page through Apps and Widgets.

We’ve already gone over how to use Facebook Ads, so today it’s all about the free methods. Exciting, isn’t it?!

Now before we start, I’ve noticed that some people out there have no problem promoting themselves on Facebook at all. (In fact, they could probably do themselves a favor by promoting a little less.)

And on the other hand, you have the people who are using Facebook for business and you have a hard time telling what they even do.

But there is a happy medium and that’s where I live within the Social Media space.

I’m not on Don King’s level, but I don’t exactly tip-toe through the tulips, either.

It’s a good place to be and it’s been working.

So, without further ado, I’ll get to the good stuff, a continuation of yesterday’s post, http://drivetheline.com/setting-your-facebook-fan-page-up-for-success/.

Remember, I said I’d tell you about the “Promotional Apps” and how to use them to get more fans to your Fan Page? Well, here they are: Continue reading Promoting Your Facebook Fan Page Through Apps and Widgets

Setting Your Facebook Fan Page Up For Success

Today, I’d Like to Show You Around My Facebook Fan Page and Let You In On Some Ways I Optimize It For “Much Success”

If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, start here: http://drivetheline.com/building-relationships-through-facebook-part-one-fan-pages/

Now that you’re back, I’ll show you how to edit your Fan Page and it’s applications.

So go to your Fan Page.

Once there, look toward the upper left of the page and click>‘Edit Page’

You will see several options to choose from. Continue reading Setting Your Facebook Fan Page Up For Success

Building Relationships Through Facebook (Part Two - Facebook Ads)

OK, right off the bat, you’re probably thinking, “Derek, what’s up with the Kanye West picture on the left?”

And the answer is that this was the ad I used to kick-start my DriveTheLine Fan Page on Facebook.

I obviously had some fun with it and I suggest you do the same.

Take a look at virtually any commercial on T.V. and you will see that they never sell the actual product!

They sell happiness.

They sell being cool.

They sell hanging out with bikini-clad girls at the beach (at least in the case of beer commercials ;)

But they hardly ever say, “Join ABC Fan Page because it will do this, this, and that for you.” (Except for drug commercials and all their scary side effects — YEESH!)

B — O — R — I — N — G

(As a side note, you probably DON’T want to use this method for Google Adwords — make sure they know exactly what they will be getting when you use Adwords, or you’ll make the “Google Saurus Rex” very angry) Continue reading Building Relationships Through Facebook (Part Two - Facebook Ads)

Building Relationships Through Facebook (Part One - Fan Pages)

The key to Social Media (and to Networking in general) is building relationships with potential customers and prospects.

One way to do this is to use a Facebook Fan Page.

Now, you’re going to run into different theories as to what is better to use — a Fan Page or a Group.

After doing some experimenting with both, Monique and I prefer to use Fan Pages.

But, depending on your needs and preferences, you might have more success using a Group.

Try both and see which one works for you.

They are very different, and there are advantages to each. Continue reading Building Relationships Through Facebook (Part One  —  Fan Pages)

Are you hiding on Facebook?

hidingOnFacebookOr Twitter? Or LinkedIn? Or any Social Media site, for that matter?

I wanted to call my friend today, but I lost his number.

“Oh well,” I thought to myself, “I’ll go to his Facebook profile and find his phone number there.”

But, to my surprise, no number to be found!

So I went to his website.

Well, if his number IS there, it is extremely difficult to find.

I would even wager that his number is so difficult to find that most customers looking for his services would have given up long before I did.

This is a problem. Continue reading Are you hiding on Facebook?
