Yes, you too can be like “Big Brother” and “keep a watchful eye” on all your prospects and customers (at least when they visit your Wordpress site)…
Scared yet? Well, don’t be — it’s not like you can see your prospects through their computer screen or anything like “Big Brother” was able to do in George Orwell’s 1984.
All I’m about to show you is how to figure out where all your traffic is coming from, how many “unique visits” you’re sight gets every month, who your top referrers are, what your most popular pages are, etc. — all on your Wordpress dashboard!
Plus, I’ll even show you a free plugin that lets you secretly “spy” on what visitors to your site are searching for, so you can be a true entrepreneur and “give the people what they want.”
Sound good?
Well, let’s get started, shall we? Continue reading How To Use Wordpress To Track and “Spy” On Your Customers

How to create a “masterpiece” with your copywriting
As many of you know, I am a visual artist (drawing, painting, etc.)…
So I thought it would be cool to give you a “glimpse into my world” to see how I look at the process of writing copy.
Obviously, I pay attention first to what my target market is interested in reading about.
Then I think about keywords I might be able to rank for — though I don’t always worry about this aspect.
Why?
Because I’m just as concerned with keeping people coming back as I am about getting them here.
It’s all about building that relationship and consistently giving value, right?
The great artists put “a piece of themselves” into their work.
So, I feel it’s just as important to let people get to know me as it is to get tons of traffic.
Besides, I’ll take a loyal group of 100 people working together to make an impact over 10,000 scattered people who could give a damn, any day of the week!
Sometimes, I’ll push the envelope to make a point — like in my last post:
===>Network Marketing Really IS A Pyramid Scheme!
The people who take offense aren’t the people I’m looking for.
“I’m only looking for people who are looking for me.”
Now that you have some insight into my “twisted artist’s thought process,” I’ll go into my thoughts on the visual aspect, or the “readability” of a post.
So now for an artist’s take on writing copy that “looks good” — good enough to read, at least ;) Continue reading An Artist’s Guide To Copywriting

If so, you might as well roll your wad of cash up and start smoking it, for all the good it’ll do you!
Listen, I understand why people use replicated sites — they seem convenient, they look “fancy,” and they’re relatively inexpensive…
But replicated sites don’t do anything but confuse your prospect when you send them to one.
And in marketing, confusing your prospect loses you money.
Because they’re not going to buy anything you have.
They’ll look around, click some links and move on.
Why? Continue reading Are you sending people to a company replicated site?

I know, I know — Marketing Co-ops are nothing new.
But I’ve been thinking, what with all the Google slaps and the time-consuming nature of blog marketing, article marketing, video marketing, social media, you name it…
Why hasn’t anyone thought of creating a Blog Marketing Co-op?
I mean, I don’t have ALL the details figured out, but this could be a great way to leverage the collective abilities and sheer man-power of your Network Marketing team.
It would go something like this, the team leader(s) would step up and take care of the blog hosting, autoresponder, etc.
They would be the “face” of the blog, so to speak — the moderator, main contributor, the ring leader of the circus…
Mainly because they have already established a following and know the ins and outs.
Then the other team members would be required to write at least one extremely valuable blog post per week. This would help build the blog’s following by keeping people coming back for more, and hopefully, telling their friends.
The contributors would each have to find a niche, focus on it, master it, and write about it.
PPC, Facebook, SEO, video marketing, etc.
The blog would become an authority site!
Furthermore, the niche masters would also be in charge of using their skills to drive traffic.
The co-op would pool their money together to fund this and they would split the proceeds — from the people who join their MLM, funded proposal sales, affiliate sales, etc.
It makes things more complicated, but it also has the potential to accelerate things quite a bit.
This blog post is pretty much a brainstorm, but I’d love to hear what you think! Leave your comments below:

They’re all on the first page of video search results on Google when you search for “business leadership training.”
How? you ask…
Through the power of video marketing, but even more specifically — Traffic Geyser.
So what is Traffic Geyser and why am I telling you about this?
Traffic Geyser is simply a tool that will allow you to upload one video file and turn it into a hundred pieces of content — all with backlinks to your blog post or capture page, basically wherever you choose to send people.
But get this, all you have to do is put in the link you want to promote and send people to (capture page, blog post, etc.), a description of your video, text for article sites, text for any blogs you have, and some more pertinent info of this nature — and Traffic Geyser submits all this info to 100 websites, give or take a few.
Trust me, it saves a LOT of time.
And, as I’m sure you realize, time is the most precious gift we have — time for our families, time for ourselves, time to focus on the important things in life.
Because this kind of mindless work is only important inasmuch as how much free, organic TRAFFIC it can get you to your website, capture page, or blog. Continue reading What do Jim Rohn, Jonathan Budd, and Monique Alvarez have in common?

I’m not sure if I’m unleashing the wolves on some innocent little lambs by revealing this to Network Marketers or not…
But I just want to remind you that “With great power comes great responsibility.”
(Spider-Man’s Uncle Ben told him this.)
Why am I making such a big deal?
Because I am going to tell you how to mass invite people on Facebook.
This may not seem like quite a big deal if you only have 30 friends, but once you get into the thousands like Monique and I have, it becomes quite a pain to select all your friends to invite them to (fill in the blank)…
- Become a fan of your page
- Listen to a phone call
- Watch a webinar
- Go to a Meetup
- Whatever!
Monique has gotten hundreds more listeners to her training calls since we started doing this.
We’ve also made thousands more people aware of our fan page and went from 419 fans to 620 fans in the span of 1 week.
Ready to see how to do this yet?
Well, I’ll show you. Just promise me not to abuse it ;) Continue reading How To Mass Invite On Facebook

What do you want?
You must be specific in want you want, because your focus will only span so far.
If only our memories were perfect, and our vision was omniwide…
Back to the real world people!
If you have a vision, write it down! Don’t count on your steel trap to record everything!
Now, what price are you willing to pay?
Everything comes with a cost. I’ve realized that the only way one achieves success is through sacrifice and there is no limit to how long that sacrifice may last.
Some people don’t understand this level of sacrifice.
Do you think freedom and human rights are free? No, it is paid for.
Sometimes with sweat, sometimes with blood, and sometimes with casualties.
Think about it.
Many men and women have sacrificed time, money — even their lives, to fight for the rights of others.
They fought for those who couldn’t fight for themselves. That is my definition of courage. These people stood up against the bullies of the world.
…Now, let’s take a moment of silence for the marginalized and oppressed of the world…
[Another moment of silence for the half a million affected and the tens of thousands laying underneath rubble in Haiti.]
You maybe asking yourself at this point, “Byron, what does this have to do with marketing?”
I’m trying to show you what PRICE really means.
Back to business:
Don’t be naïve to think that pricing is the only factor in how successful a business will be. Continue reading Charles Barkley, Price and Positioning

Warning: Don’t Study the Facebook Fan Page Graphs and Analytics Too Hard or You’ll End Up Like the Guy to the Left
Now that we have that out of the way, I would like to show you some more reasons why I prefer Fan Pages over Groups on Facebook — all the Graphs and Analytics!
Why does this matter, you may ask?
It matters because it will give you a great idea of who you are attracting to you, so you can have laser focus when you are trying to meet their needs.
Plus, if you get some interaction going with your fans, you will not only have a good idea of who they are and what they are like, you will also know what problems they need solved.
But, like I said, this post is about looking at the graphs and analytics.
I wrote another post on some ways to interact with your fans and you can find that here: http://drivetheline.com/promoting-your-facebook-fan-page-through-apps-and-widgets/ Continue reading Analyzing Your Facebook Fan Page
